Goodbye Fukuoka!

So I have lived in Fukuoka with my husband for the past two years! What can I say, the place is beautiful.... but it never completely felt like our home. With bretts career comes a change of location, AGAIN :) But we are happy to move, as we have experience so much in this town....

Heres some photos from our time in Fukuoka, Japan :)

One of the many adventures on our bikes!!

Beautiful Fukuoka! On the ferris wheel by the beach :)

Too much to drink at Karaoke.

At Dazaifu . . . Love it there

Our First snow 01/2009

Beautiful Cherry Blossoms of Spring :)

Will miss u girls, you know who you are :(

Ill miss the beautiful sunsets and my balcony... so many hours spent out there staring at the world :)

Am sad to be leaving, but excited for the opportunities & the fresh start ahead.
Busy Busy packing away!

Goodbye Fukuoka

This should be required viewing for all Teens and Young Adults

After writing my blog about Heidi Montag last night, I was so happy to find this video this morning.

It should be shown to ALL young men and women :)

To show that our idea of perfection is something that is manifested and produced.

To cut or not to cut?!

Ok, so first off, WHAT DO YOU THINK??

I was an avid 'Hills' watcher. Yes I am one of those people who loves reality shows. In my own opinion I thought she looked gorgeous just how she was in Season One. She was naturally beautiful and tiny. I mean, I don't care so much what people do with their bodies. But for me it is more about the issue of self image which is already something that SO many young girls struggle with.

Obviously Heidi has her own reasons for this, but it breaks my heart to think that this girl is a role model and publicising this plastic surgery to the whole world.

Beauty comes in all sizes, not just size 5.  ~Roseanne

Beauty is only skin deep and I think it is so important to promote how important it is to be a beautiful and kind person on the inside also.

I hope that one day magazines will be filled with positive role models for our children without such an emphasis on being perfect & skinny :)

Just my thoughts,

Chanel Bag or Chanel Watch??

For so so long I have longed after, wished for, DREAMT of having a Chanel Bag. Of course like for most of us it is just so expensive and hard to justify such a spend. BUT I also know that if I bought a bag that it would be mine forever and would be used so so much. So in my mind it is worth investing the money.... right?!?

I have always adored the classic flap bag, the smaller size and the larger one. If I get one it will definitely be black with gold accents :)

Now, here comes the confusion... this lovely bag has come into the picture LOL. I think it looks so classy, but also a little different from the classic chanel bags.

Which bag would you choose?? Help me ?!

The title of this blog post is bag or watch... and this is the watch I love. The classic J12, not with the diamonds, just as is above. These retail anywhere from $4000 upwards.

CON's to the watch: I think it would wear so much quicker than the bag, as I am always banging my bangles around.

SOOOO What would you do?? I twittered this topic and alot of you said to go with the watch. I am swaying more to the bag as I think its so timeless and I would use it everywhere :)

Take Care,

10 Fitness Tips

With winter being here, I know exactly how hard it is to get motivated to exercise and keep fit. All we can do is our best and try VERY hard not to have too many excuses.

1. Write a list: Jot down how you feel when you are working out and how you feel when you are being a couch potato. We all know what the better option is but sometimes we need to be reminded.

2. Start Today: If we continue to say "I'll start tomorrow", tomorrow will never come and that will always be an excuse out of being healthy. There is no better time than today!

3. Commit Yourself: Whether that is to your mum, dad, friend, boyfriend, husband or personal trainer. You need to be held accountable for IF you slacken of. You will feel as though you have something to prove to that person and therefore are less likely to give in.

4. Be Organised: Being organised is a HUGE thing for me. Have your workout clothes ready in the morning, keep track of what you eat and when you exercise and MAKE time to exercise. These are all parts of being organised.

5. Be Realistic: Make goals, but make realistic ones. If you goals are too extreme you'll lose motivation in trying to get them. Set goals that are achievable in the next month or two months.

6. Make Exercise FUN: Get involved with your partner or pet. If you have fun you are more likely to stick to it.

7. Make exercise a HABIT: Try and do your workouts at least three times per week. If it feels like a routine then you are less likely to skip it.

8. Exercise at home: Buy an exercise DVD or just do my exercise vids on YT. Then there is no excuse even if it is pouring rain outside or snowing.

9. Buy a Skipping Rope: Skipping is such a great fat burner. It is cheap and you can do it in the comfort of your own backyard. Aim for sets of 1-2 minutes.

10. Exercise During AD breaks: That way you can be a couch potato and finish your workout. Choose a different exercise for every ad break and by the time your hour long show is over, so will your workout :)

Keep Motivated, Spring is around the corner!

Highlights of 2009 :)

Yes I realise I am running a bit late but I thought I would still do a photo post as 2009 was a huge year for me with many lessons learnt. 2009 was both a good and bad year, but I will take what positive I can from it :)

February 2009,
Went back to Australia after a long cold winter. Was so great to lay in the sun, enjoy all the wonderful foods and to see my friends and family again!

Brett and my dad LOL

May 2009: Back to Japan once again, but it is spring and the beautiful cherry blossoms were out. I love SPRING

July 2009: By far the BEST month of the year!! Brett and I went for our first holiday to America and we had an absolute blast!!! The grand canyon, Las Vegas and the Hollywood sign were highlights of the trip... loved it and cant wait to go back!

*Losing my money in Las vegas

*Climbing up to the HOLLYWOOD Sign

*Disneyland!!!!

After our america trip we came back to Japan to climb Mt Fuji! The highest mountain in Japan. It was freezing cold and stormy, but a great experience! Was summer in Japan, but there was ice at the TOP!! Very very unprepared :(

September 2009: Started on Youtube!! Didnt think i would have any SUBBIES lol

I also had my first photoshoot ever!!!

I used to be so obsessed with carrying my camera around! I have found that since starting my YT vids, I have taken hardly any photos from around the place... WEIRD!!

December 2009:
I returned back to Australia to see my family for a little while before Christmas. Was great to feel at home again. I miss the heat so much, the sun just makes me so so happy!!! Christmas was fun and cold in Japan . . . got lotsa prezzies from Santa.!!

Had a year of goods and bads, but I am looking forward to 2010 for a fresh start!!
New Decade
New Year
More youtube lol!!
Happy New Year all . . . Wishing you a fun and prosperous one!

Getting back into the swing of things....

Wow how things have changed since I last kept up my blog... I started this blog a mid last year as I thought it would be fun to do.... but as my youtube videos took more importance, my blog slowly but surely fizzled out. At the time there was so much stuff going on in my life, keeping up the youtube videos was my top priority!

But now it is 2010 and I am going to get back to doing these posts as I think it is a great way to share your thoughts with more than 160 characters lol. Things in my life are slowly getting back to normal :)

I hope you guys enjoy my blog, I will aim for 2-3posts a week.

For all the new followers to my blog, thanks you for coming on over and dont forget to follow me :) tehehe.

Take care lovelies Xx
